ZAYDA is a 10 week old female DESI puppy that arived by airlift from Delhi India on December 17th. Zayda and her littermates were rescued from a slum area where they were hiding in a sewer pipe. Their mother had just been run over and killed, and the young woman that had been feeding her took the pups to the Drs. Choudhary. The Choudhary's provided veterinary care of the pups but had to put back on the street until a foster home could be found. Unfortunately just as the foster home became available one sweet pup was hit by a car and killed and Zayda also received a fractured femur. Zayda's fracture has healed but she will be always slightly lame in this leg. The pups made their way into wonderful foster homes where they were adored and socialized. All the littermates are very friendly and confident outgoing pups. The pups are all papertrained and are also almost housetrained relative to their age. Zayda had had her 6 & 8 week puppy vaccinations, health check, flea/tick treatment and parasite control. She will receive another health check and microchip prior to adoption. AAIDD is a small nonprofit rescue located in Abbotsford. 100% of the adoption fee goes towards the airlift rescue costs.Additional rescue and shelter costs are donated.
